A Bit About Me
My work as a facilitator and coach is rooted in the knowing that our true nature is resourced, wise and wildly creative. I am here to support and mentor people to recognize and easily access their well-being, clarity, and self-compassion. Our work is a partnership, a co creation that is as unique as each person I work with.
The story of me began in Chicago but when I was 11 my family moved to Atlanta where many of them still live today. At 18 I was inspired to focus on personal peace and transformation so I moved into an ashram to practice meditation. I lived there for close to a decade before I left the formal study to raise my son.
In 2009, while working as a Television Producer in Hollywood, I continued my learning by completing a three year Masters program in Spiritual Psychology with an emphasis on Consciousness, Health, and Healing. Once completed, my inquiry continued with Master Coach Robert Holden, Rohini Ross, Coach for Life, and multiple coaching certifications along the way.
From 2008-2020 I contributed to a series of workshops on Self Forgiveness held in prisons throughout California. And from 2016-2020, I worked with Julia Cameron’s Artist Way processes by participating in an Expressive Arts mastermind class weekly which ultimately led to becoming certified as an Expressive Arts facilitator.
In 2019 I was introduced to an understanding which profoundly impacted my life and re-ignited my awareness of the unlimited potential and well-being within. The beauty of this simple truth allows me to see the “inside out” nature of life and inspires sustainable change. Without having to learn any new tricks or to have to “fix anything”, this understanding enables me to point my clients in the direction of their innate well being and wholeness that is already here.
May of 2020, early in the pandemic, I received a cancer diagnosis that presented challenges and opportunities unlike any I had faced before. With the support of many and an open and curious approach to what life was offering, I successfully completed treatment and am experiencing radiant health! This life changing encounter has given me a valued perspective and has inspired me to share this understanding with as many people as possible.
When not working you can find me in my outdoor garden, in pursuit of the best cup of coffee, enjoying friend and family time and dancing as much as possible. I’m a regular at silent meditation retreats and love to sing in my community choir.
I reside in Los Angeles but I am available on zoom or via airplane to come to you.
